Bunganut Lake Camping Area first opened in 1961. For generations, Bunganut Lake Camping Area has been a destination for families to spend their summer vacations.
Nestled in the woods of Lyman, Maine, the campground sits on 60 acres with 110 roomy campsites. The abundant, towering and majestic white birch trees that grace the area provide Bunganut with a natural umbrella of lasting and refreshing shade. Sixty acres of natures protective covering against the bright sunshine is your haven from the day's uncomfortable heat. Complementing the beauty of the barks and foliage are the varied rock patterns nestling throughout the camp. It is this formation of rocks which led the Native Americans to call the area Bunganut... which means "place of the rocks." No matter what site you select for your trailer, tent, or pop-up, you'll find the kind of shade that will give you a welcomed comfort for either the weekend or season. AMENITIES INCLUDE:
